I regularly visit schools across Victoria and am available to visit schools in other parts of Australia. You can book me for primary and secondary schools, festivals and conferences.

Writing workshops

I love running writing workshops. In the sessions participants are encouraged to relax about writing and have fun with language. I believe that every person has the ability to engage with character, to imagine. My aim in every workshop is to draw those stories out of people.

Writing workshop topics include:

  • Personal/imaginative writing
  • Poetry
  • Short story: character, plot, structure and language
  • Writing from visual prompts
  • Avoiding cliché in writing

Author talk topics include:

  • Novels and inspiration for writing
  • Humour in storytelling
  • Story ideas

I am also available to speak at Festivals and Conferences.
