Writing workshops
I love running writing workshops. In the sessions participants are encouraged to relax about writing and have fun with language. I believe that every person has the ability to engage with character, to imagine. My aim in every workshop is to draw those stories out of people.
Writing workshop topics include:
- Personal/imaginative writing

- Short story: character, plot, structure and language
- Writing from visual prompts
- Avoiding cliché in writing
Author talk topics include:
- Novels and inspiration for writing
- Humour in storytelling
- Story ideas
