This is a photo of Bob, taken by my niece. I’m going to run a series of her work on my blog. I love her photography. I can’t remember if I was as creative as a kid as my nieces and nephews are. I don’t think I was. I wrote a story in Year 5 about a group of people that had fruit for heads. Strangely, I won first place.
Today I wrote for a bit – and liked what I wrote, which is always good. My character is starting to come together. I dreamt about her last night.
I spoke to my mum who has just read the draft of my new Aussie Bite, Rosie Staples’ Minor Magical Misunderstanding. I love having a laugh with her about my stories.
I read for a while and then I watched Paper Heart, this great documentary/story about love. I really liked it. So much so that I think I might watch it again, later.
